We had travelled over from the UK and staying in Manhattan but were told if went to Brooklyn with should try the best pizza in all NY. Now such statements are always subjective but Di Fara did not disappoint. I’d been warned about the possibility of a queue but were lucky when we turned up with just a 20 min wait for freshly cooked pizza which we devoured. It was very hot and had to control myself as I wanted to dive straight in, never had such a good pizza, cooked to perfection and very good value. Glad I live in the UK or I’d be eating too much pizza.

I'm not a native to NY so I'm sure my opinion is going to differ from the vast majority of the local 5-star reviews. I hit up Di Fara in a symbolic foodie style pilgrimage to find the pizza that best symbolizes the original Brooklyn slice. Di Fara has been around forever and its mystique is pretty well known in the pizza world... I found it to be a little less magical than I hoped for. I got a regular pie and when I opened the box what I found was a slightly disappointing and definitely greasy pizza that without its storied history wouldn't hit the three stars I'm giving it. Mr. DeMarco has been making these pizzas for over 50 years in the same location with countless... seriously countless awards and recognition over the decades, which makes it worth checking out :)

Definitely one of the tastiest slices I’ve ever had. Both the plain and the square slices are outstanding, the ingredients they use are clearly top notch. The people are friendly, good vibes. Just outstanding pizza, no BS. Must visit. The only negative thing I have to say about Di Fara is the flop. Way too floppy for my taste. Still, a small gripe. Phenomenal pizza.

I got the chance to visit with my family last weekend, and the pizza certainly blew all expectations. I read a couple of reviews beforehand to get a feel for the place and recommend it to my family when we arrived. The service was quick, and the pizza did not disappoint. It was one of the best slices I've ever had; all the toppings blended so well, and it was a decent-sized portion! I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again if I'm ever in New York.

I finally made it to Di Fara, and luckily, the line wasn’t too bad about a 10-minute wait. Since it was a nice day, waiting outside wasn’t a big deal. Seating is limited, but we managed to grab a table, which made the experience even better. Easily one of my favorites in NYC. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The sauce is absolute perfection balanced, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The dough was perfect , and the crust : thin, crisp, and just sturdy enough to hold up all that deliciousness. If you’re a pizza lover, this spot is a must-visit. I’d definitely go back!

I've only been here a handful of times , but everytime I make the trip to Brooklyn, visiting this place is always on my mind for lunch. Parking is always annoying, I parked a block away but its normal for this area, especially if you want to sit and dine in. They have a unique style and taste for their brand of pizza and walking in to the store you can see why. Di Fara has been around for decades and the history is well showcased in the store. I tried the square and a regular slice and though it was the most money I ever spent on a pizza slice, it was well worth it. The sauce is flavorful and overwhelming. The crust is crunchy and a perfect balance to the cheese. The touch of basil leaves on the pizza is also a great compliment. I ordered 1 slice and when I was done I ordered 2 more immediately. Overall one of the most iconic pizza spots in the United States with great pizza.

This is a legit Italian pizzeria. Their pizza takes you straight to Italy. It has been operated by a family since 1965. Classic. This is a must go place for pizza lovers in Brooklyn.

I was expecting it to be a busy place with lot of crowd, but was surprised to find no one over there, little sad that how it lost its charm in the last few years. Pizza was decent, I honestly felt Lucali to be better than this, but yeah surely it’s among the top pizzas of mine in NYC. Crust is little too hard.
